These are Great Breadsticks
It all started with a bag of breadsticks and small little desk top printed label. As our salesman, Gary, munched on the breadsticks he thought – “Hey, these are really good, its too bad that the packaging does nothing to tell people how good they are.”
So, Gary went to the InkWorks art team and challenged them to design a new label. They did and Gary to the sample label to the Bakery and showed them the difference a label could make. The owner’s said, “wow!” And they immediately bought the labels. And when they saw their sales results… they again said, “WOW!” But it didn’t stop there.
The Bakery owners mentioned that they loved the labels, but with the higher demand and the application of the label had become very tedious and time consuming. So, Gary suggested, why don’t we make your bag out of the label? Our customer’s reaction was “Hun?” But after Gary demonstrate a stand-up pouch, the owner’s said “Wow” again. And when they saw their sales results… they said, “Holy Moly Wow!!!”
Now on their 3rd package design, the wow experience continues, and the results have never been tastier.

We never imagined we would make packaging tape. In fact, we kind of thought it was beneath us. But when a customer challenged us to create a product line for custom packaging tape, we decided to give it a try.
Within weeks, the InkWorks Team came-up with a unique way to use our printing and coating technologies to create custom packaging tape. But despite all, of our innovation, there was always going to be set-up material produced to ensure our customer would always have good product.
So, the team decided to use the set-up material to make our own tape. Soon, InkWorks logo’d tape began to appear on all our boxes. It was fun, but after a couple of months the art department suggested we should change the artwork of our tape each month to demonstrate the flexibility. Soon the tape took on a life of its own with seasonal themes of turkeys or elves or Easter bunnies to adorned the InkWorks boxes.
To our surprise, our customers began to comment that they looked forward to the next tape design because it made them smile. Now, our tape is ever changing, our team members search for unusual facts or special days to put on our tape to make our customer’s smile and spread a little joy!

The phone call came from a referral. A movie studio set crew was looking for a way to decorate a ball and they were told that if there was a company to do it; it was InkWorks. The challenge was that they had attempted several methods and failed, and now they were two weeks away from launch and they needed a solution.
The InkWorks team jumped on the challenge, rapidly creating prototypes to demonstrate how we could decorate a ball. Within days the customer was convinced, and they sent in their artwork. When it arrived, along with several balls to decorate, we realized we were creating the gyroscope ball for a rocket… well a movie rocket, anyway.
The artwork was modified and meticulously applied to the ball – and the gyroscope balls arrived well in advance of the count down.

InkWorks has always prided itself in demonstrating how our customers can add value to their products by simply changing the artwork. But when changing artwork, leads to 1000’s of artwork iterations, the order entry process, artwork submission and approval, could make an easy opportunity to create value a logistics nightmare.
Well, InkWorks created an easy to use, highly integrated system that allows our customers to upload their artwork or select from a menu of previously loaded artwork, see the rendered artwork in 3D for confident approval, enter a quantity and submit an order. The system automatically tracks similar orders and offers aggregating pricing.
The system is so simple, that customers have rapidly expanded their product offerings with no impact to their order processing. The system is so effective that InkWorks literally processes fifteen hundred orders a day, without blinking.
Now that’s – easy.
