RALEIGH, NC - December, 2002 - Just in time for the holiday season, fans of "Alias," the hit ABC Television spy drama starring Golden Globe® Award-winning actress Jennifer Garner, will be able to collect exquisite trading cards inspired by the series.
"Alias" follows double agent Sydney Bristow (Garner) as she and the CIA battle SD-6, a secret organization that is an enemy of the United States. However, intrigue is at a maximum as Sydney is also an agent of the very organization she is trying to bring down.
"We are honored to have the opportunity to bring Alias trading cards to the collectible market," said Allan Caplan, president of Inkworks. "Alias is a perfect match for what we like to see in a potential trading card subject. The show is wonderfully well-written, the story line has unexpected twists and turns, the visuals are stunning and the fan base is passionate and incredibly loyal. To reflect the quality of the series, we have created an ultra high end trading card set that is printed on premium 18 point mirror board."
Inkworks will launch Alias: Season One Premium Trading Cards December 18, 2002.
